Federal Change to Truth-In-Savings Regulation

Effective immediately, when you use your debit card at an ATM or to make a purchase at any merchant, your savings account balances or overdraft protection loan availability will no longer be considered for your daily authorized limit. The authorized amount of funds available to make a purchase will be limited to the available funds in your checking (share draft) account only.

Please note that - assumig you have the necessary funds in your checking account - the overall daily limits are unchanged at $200 at an ATM and $1,000 for card signature transactions.

If you are accustomed to relying on your savings account balances to complete purchases, you will now need to plan your spending and transfer the necessary funds into your checking account before using your card.

We regret any inconvenience caused as a result of this federal regulation change, however, we are required to follow federal regulations exactly. Please feel free to contact us is you have any further questions on this change.
